Chitra Tripathi was born in Gorakhpur, Uttar Pradesh. She has completed his education from town of Hindus. After completing her primary education, she went to Deep Dyal Upadhaya Gorakhpur University for pursuing his graduation. She has done her masters in Defense Studies.
During her studies, she didn’t aspire to be a journalist. However, a short shot with Doordarshan Centre Gorakhpur developed her mind to become a journalist and got interested in this field. In order to pursue it as a career, she went to Delhi and looked for some good opportunities in Hindi Television news. So she joined Sahara India and now she didn’t want to turn back. Before admitting to ABP news, she worked with ETV network, Indian News and NEWS 24. It is very admiring that people still remember her with the success of INDIA NEWS and NEWS 24.

Beautiful Chitra Tripathi got hitched with her boyfriend Atul Aggarwal with whom she was in a relationship for several years. Her husband is also a popular journalist and news anchor. They both got engaged in 2008. The couple is blessed with a son and lives their happily married life in Noida.
It is to be known that Chitra and Atul belong to distinct castes i.e., one is Brahmin and the other one is a Bania. They both were involved in the same profession and had a lot in common; therefore their families didn’t raise any objection for their love marriage.
